WEEDING DAY (ACT791)

Monday 13th November (Overnight accommodation on the 12th)

At Ashburnham Place we really want to trial working without any chemical weed killers and so this year we are going to try to keep on top of our weeds through traditional methods!

We would love to invite you along to Ashburnham Place for the 13th November to join us in a weeding party! Come and be part of the team – you can stay overnight on the Sunday, free of charge, and experience the beauty of Ashburnham Place, join with the onsite community for Sunday Celebration if you like and wake up to birdsong in the morning. Then join with the team in hoeing and clearing weeds from key areas, enjoy coffee break and lunch with the community before heading home in the late afternoon. If you live locally, why not just come for the day?

You will need to be physically able to work alongside the team and bring sturdy boots to wear. We will provide gloves and tools, food and drinks, we can’t guarantee the sun although we hope for it but can guarantee fun and working as a team to achieve some immediate results
