Encountering the Enneagram 1 (ACT731)
Tuesday 21st November 2023 4pm – Thursday 23rd November 2023 4pm
Led by Andy Proudfoot & Jeanie Honey
A powerful tool for spiritual growth through understanding ourselves, and others.
How can I understand myself and others better?
Do you wonder why people act differently from you? For example, why are some people so fearful whereas others enjoy the challenges and dangers of life?
The Enneagram model of nine personality types helps explain so much about the way we behave. It is a unique way of understanding ourselves, our world, our God, and how we relate to others.
You will discover your place on the circle of nine personalities and see how you re-late to four other types. We will introduce the sub-types and see their effect on relationships.
Beginner – This workshop is open to complete Enneagram beginners. You don’t need to know your type but it would certainly help you get the most out of the time if you did. As part of the team we have two trained Enneagram Typing Practitioners, if you would like a typing interview before the workshop please contact our team to arrange this in advance for you. (annie.mackenzie@ashburnham.org.uk) The cost of a typing interview is subsidised if you are on the retreat and therefore only £30 per interview.
While Ashburnham Place is run by the Ashburnham Christian Trust, this workshop is open to anybody of all faiths and none and as such we hope the content is accessible for all.
