Our church weekend was the best we have had for years. The location, the facilities and the staff were outstanding. We can't wait to come back next year.

If the weather is not so good and we have room, you'll be welcome to eat/ drink in the Oak dining room too (but we can't make any guarantees for indoor seating right now). In the summer of 2013 The Orangery Tea Room was established serving the highest quality teas and coffees alongside fresh, locally sourced food. The spectacular Orangery, designed in 1777 by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, houses delicate plants of many kinds including the oldest camellia in the country. The Tea Rooms are open to the public and guests can make use of the Tea Room at any point during their stay.

We only allow guide dogs/assistance dogs onsite, as our grounds are designated as a site of special scientific interest (SSSI) and we do not allow dogs in the grounds due to this.

New Menus at the Orangery Tea Room

  • Please find a table and order at the counter when you are ready
  • Delicious locally sourced food and drink
