We have a delightful self-catering cottage, ‘Blue Doors’, which is set alone in the beautiful woodland that surrounds Ashburnham Place.

The cottage can sleep up to 5.  Blue Doors has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom, a bathroom with a separate toilet, a lounge/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. A travel cot is also available in the cottage.

A perfect getaway

Blue Doors makes an excellent place to get away from the hustle and bustle for rest and recuperation.

The price includes all bedding and towels, heating, cleaning equipment, tea and coffee making facilities and full access to the grounds and gardens of Ashburnham Place.

Finding us

Nearest train station is in Battle (approx 4 miles away). No bus routes pass the property. Note the postcode may take you to our ‘back track’ which is closed for public access.

Please use the main entrance to Ashburnham Place found via the A271 ​​​​​​ Kitchenham Road.

The cottage is located in the woodland of Ashburnham Place with easy access to plenty of walks where you can see all sorts of wildlife including deer, badgers, woodpeckers, plenty of fungi and even glow worms at certain times of the year.
