Great Expectations You are invited to our Advent break for women. There will be time for worship, teaching, rest and refreshment, all in the beauty of Ashburnham Place. Advent is a precious season and yet it can be a time when there are great expectations on us and we may be expecting much from others. But what of God’s expectations for us and our expectations of Him? We will take time to reflect on our own journey of faith, and on the Christmas story which is full of expectation. As we prepare for Christmas and the coming year, we will look with expectancy to the God who has far more for us than we could ever dream or imagine.
