Prayer has been at the centre of Ashburnham Place’s history and community life.  We believe that God changes things through our prayers and that we are called to be a community who pray.  Our intention is that prayer is embedded into our community life here; as we make beds, clean toilets, walk the grounds or meet in the Prayer Centre.  The onsite Prayer Centre provides a hub for much of the more strategic prayer and a place for guests to meet as groups or to find space to pray alone.  We have a monthly prayer schedule, we pray for our guests every week and we invite prayer requests from around the world.
