Ashburnham Place is looking to appoint a positive, enthusiastic, self motivated decorator with a can-do attitude. You would join a small team of professionals tasked with the maintenance and improvement of the buildings at Ashburnham Place.
We are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge and has a keen eye for detail. You would be self-motivated, comfortable working alone, but also enjoy being part of a small team.
You will play a key role in improving and maintaining the condition of our guest accommodation and conference spaces. This will include everything from complete room renovation to touching up chipped walls or skirting. Predominately a decorating role, it would be preferable if you were able to undertake bathroom tiling and a small amount of general maintenance.
You will be required to work at height from ladders or scaffolding, when needed.
The role requires you to be ‘On Call’ for maintenance emergencies, but no more that one in four weeks.
Hours are negotiable; depending on circumstances. They could be suited to fit around other commitments.
Salary is dependent on contracted hours and experience.
