The Ashburnham Christian Trust is seeking to recruit a Grounds Person

With 220 acres of Capability Brown landscaped Grounds and Gardens enjoyed by many thousands of guests each year, the successful applicant will be working as part of a small committed team, responsible for the upkeep of the wider grounds and the implementation of the Trust’s strategic plans for the site.

We are looking for, an exceptional highly motivated individual, who will have a passion for nature, an upbeat ‘can do’ attitude and is able to work to a high level of professionalism. The individual will play a key role in helping the Trust develop its understanding and practice of environmental sustainability and wildlife conservation.

This is a full time paid role commencing in July 2021. The position may come with single person accommodation.

Chef de partie (Paid Position)

  • Be willing to work in all areas of the kitchen
  • Be passionate about producing good food and have a desire to learn new skills
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Kitchen Assistant/ Commis Chef
  • Able to maintain health, safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen
The Ashburnham Christian Trust welcomes thousands of guests each year to the beautiful Ashburnham Place.

We are looking for, an exceptional highly motivated individual, who will have a passion for creating beautiful, wholesome food for our guests and on site community. An upbeat ‘can do’ attitude and is able to work to a high level of professionalism. The individual will play a key role in helping the Trust develop its food offer, which we see as being central to the Hospitality we give our guests.

The position may come with single person accommodation.
