Our church weekend was the best we have had for years. The location, the facilities and the staff were outstanding. We can't wait to come back next year.

Rest and Dream of a Better Future

(ACT 644)

Tuesday 15th March 4.30pm - Friday 18th March 2022 10.30am

Led by Laura Steven and Emily Bradbury

Based on the premise that we are living through momentous times - including global pandemic and climate crisis - this retreat will provide participants time and space to step back and reflect on the past two years.

You will be invited to slow down, breathe, notice and acknowledge what has happened, what you have seen, felt and been affected by. Together we will create space for deeper listening – to others, to your inner wisdom, to God/something beyond yourself.

In response to this, you can choose from a selection of options that will include spending time in Nature, silence, prayer/meditation and creative, reflective exercises and conversations to discern - what does a better future look like and what is my part in it?

All options will make the most of the wonderful setting of Ashburnham Place and be facilitated by your hosts, Emily Bradbury, Laura Steven and the members of the Ashburnham team. We will conclude together with the question: How might we say yes to hope?

Hosts: Emily Bradbury, Founder and Director of ‘Courage to Thrive’; and Laura Steven, Founder of ‘MinervaWorldwide’ and Head of Wellbeing for Clergy and Families (Chichester Diocese). www.couragetothrive.org.uk www.minervaworldwide.com
