Individual Day Visitors

Although this is a private property, we do welcome individuals or small groups of up to 6 people as day visitors to our Grounds, Gardens and Prayer Centre, providing the following guidelines are adhered to:

  • All day visitors are requested to call Reception on 01424 8942244 in advance to check that we are open and can take day visitors on their chosen date. 
  • Day visitors are very welcome to be on site between 8.30am and 6.45pm and we kindly ask you to sign in and out at Reception.
  • A day pass will be issued which must be worn and clearly visible.
  • Individuals wishing to walk around the Grounds and Gardens will be charged £3.50 per person.
  • PACT members have free access to the Grounds and Gardens, except in August.  Please click here for membership details.
  • Day Visitors may use the individual Prayer Rooms in the Prayer Centre between 8.30am and 6.45pm. There is no formal charge to use the Prayer Rooms, but we welcome donations.
  • The Prayer Rooms are available on a first-come-first-served basis and cannot be pre-booked.
  • Day visitors are welcome to join our staff and volunteers in Continuous Prayer in the main Prayer Room. A programme is available on our website or from Reception.
  • Fishing, swimming and boating is only available for residential guests.
  • Picnics or barbeques are not permitted as they may endanger wildlife and the surroundings.
  • Dogs are not allowed on site, except for service dogs.
  • The consumption of alcohol is not permitted anywhere on site. 

 For your information: 

  • Maps are available from Reception and guide books detailing signposted walks can be purchased from our bookshop.
  • Hot drinks are available in the Guest Lounge, Conservatory and Prayer Centre Foyer.
  • Lunch can be provided if booked and paid for in advance.  Please mention any medically essential dietary requirements when booking.
  • Please park in the main car park next to the Prayer Centre.
  • The Gardens and some of the Grounds are wheelchair accessible, and there is a gravelled path around Broad Water Lake. 
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry.
