Ashburnham Place Holidays
Many guests have found Ashburnham Place to be a haven of beauty and tranquility, where they have seen God's glory and received his peace. Our popular Holidays provide an excellent opportunity to do just that. They are hosted by Charles & Lynne Earwicker, who combine years of experience in Christian leadership and teaching with a warm pastoral gift, to ensure these regular events in our diary remain popular and welcoming to everyone.
Ashburnham Place Holidays run through most of the year, with a programme which varies slightly with the seasons. Everything on the programme is optional – taking time out to rest and unwind is the aim of these breaks. You can enjoy leisurely mealtimes, friendly company over coffee, gentle walks in the spacious Grounds and Gardens, or relax in what was once a stately home.
The relaxed programme includes a morning and evening devotional time to worship and enjoy God's word, together with a range of activities which may contain:
- an outing to a local place of interest (entry cost not included in holiday price)
- a gardens tour with a member of our grounds team
- a cream tea in the Orangery, or toasted teacakes by the fire (depending on the season!)
- a light-hearted quiz evening
- a simple craft session
- board games and jigsaw puzzles
