Day Groups

We welcome residential groups of up to 2000 guests as well as day groups of 6 or more people enjoying pre-booked visits to the grounds and gardens with a cream tea or a meal.

Church Day Groups

Ashburnham Place welcomes pre-booked Day Groups subject to available meeting rooms and dining rooms.   Please click here to view our facilities.

Day groups are normally on site from 8.30am to 6.45pm.  Please contact the Conference Centre Bookings Office to check availability.  Should you wish to stay longer, please click here for overnight rates. 

A meeting room will be allocated according to the size and requirements of your group.  If you require the use of an extra break-out room, please enquire about the additional charges.

The following charges apply to visits between 1st April - 31st December 2011.    The prices are per person and exclude VAT.  Please refer to our payment terms and booking conditions: 

• Day Visit Only               £8.75
  • (no meals but includes one tea/coffee/biscuit break)
• Lunch                            £8.50
  • (Excludes Sunday lunch, includes Sunday High Tea)   
• Evening Meal               £9.50
  • (Excludes Sunday High Tea, includes Sunday lunch) 
• Complete Daily Rate   £27.00
  • (all meals except breakfast)
• Additional tea / coffee and biscuits     £1.95
• Tea / coffee and cake                             £2.50

Cream Teas 

We also welcome group visits to our Grounds and Gardens and offer a cream tea in our Orangery designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, or in the Oak-panelled Dining Room.

Our Head Groundsman, Rhod, would be delighted to give you a tour of the house and tell you about the history of this former stately home and the family that once lived here.  Alternatively, if you are interested in flora and fauna, we can offer you a tour of the Grounds and Gardens.

Cream Teas are available from 3pm onwards and must be pre-booked.  They are subject to availability and the minimum group size is 10.

• Cream Tea Only               £4.95
• Cream Tea and History Talk            £4.95
• Cream Tea and Tour of the Gardens      £7.95
