Accommodation Description
- The Dorm: There are 5 bedrooms in the dormitory and each room has 2 or 3 bunk-beds in it, giving 24 beds in total. The dorm is very basic and therefore more suitable for youths or children of school age. The rooms share one large bathroom which contains three showers, four toilets and several washbasins. It is situated on the ground floor of Tent Hill House and external access to the building is with a programmable door code. Please note that towels are not provided and that tea/coffee making facilities are available in the Conservatory and Guest Lounge.
- Tent Hill House: This budget accommodation has recently undergone extensive refurbishment including new manual convection heating and rewiring, new lockable fire doors, the installation of two more showers per floor, the refurbishment of windows, some new furniture and the addition of tea/coffee making facilities in each bedroom. The layout in a number of the bedrooms has also changed to increase the total number of beds to be able to accommodate more school groups, young people and families with a limited budget.
Tent Hill House now comprises two twin rooms, two triple rooms and seven quadruple rooms on the 1st floor, two twin rooms and eleven triple rooms on the 2nd floor and two twin rooms, eight triple rooms and three quadruple rooms on the 3rd floor, giving a total of 115 beds. The twin rooms have two single beds in them, the triple rooms have a single bed and a bunk bed and the quadruple rooms have two bunk beds. Please note there is no lift.
Each floor is split in to two corridors and there are two shower rooms and two toilets in each corridor. Each bedroom has its own washbasin, but please note towels are not provided. For your comfort, we do not mix groups in corridors.
It is our expectation that there will be a minimum of two guests per room, and you will not be charged for underfilling a triple or quadruple room. However, if a guest chooses to have single occupancy of any room at the weekend, then a single supplement will be charged.
- Target Lodge: This budget accommodation comprises 15 single rooms on the ground floor, split into two corridors. There are two shower rooms, one bathroom and three toilets in the lodge. Each bedroom has its own washbasin and tea/coffee making facilities. Please note that towels are not provided. External access to the building is with a programmable door code.
- Camellia Court : We are pleased to announce the refurbishment of the old volunteer accommodation block to provide a further 26 beds spread over two floors overlooking the courtyard and West Garden. This will be available out of school term times and will be ideal for smaller groups such as a home group to use. More information to follow!
- The Link: This corridor links Tent Hill House to the main house on the first floor and is classed as standard accommodation. The Link comprises five bedrooms: two twin rooms (each with two single beds), one bunk-bedded room, one triple room (with a single bed and a bunk bed), and a quadruple room (with two bunk beds). There are two bathrooms in the Link; each bedroom has its own washbasin and towels are provided. Rooms 112 and 113 have an interconnecting door which can be unlocked to provide a larger family unit. For your comfort, we do not mix groups in corridors.

- Moore House: This standard accommodation comprises 16 twin rooms, of which 8 are on the ground floor, and it is divided in to units. Each unit has two twin rooms with a shared bathroom with a bathtub and towels are provided. Some of the units have shower-over-bathtub facilities. Eight of the twin rooms can be made into triples by using a pull-out bed, making it ideal as family accommodation. Each bedroom has a lockable door and tea/coffee making facilities.

- Moore House: There are two twin en-suite rooms, one on the ground floor (with shower-over-bathtub facilities) and one on the first floor (with bathtub) at the end of Moore House. Each bedroom has a lockable door. Towels, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in all en-suite rooms.

- Ashbourne House: This en-suite accommodation comprises 24 twin rooms, of which 12 are on the ground floor. Each twin room has a private shower room, except rooms 14 and 15 which have shower-over-bathtub facilities. Rooms 10 and 11 are wheelchair accessible, and have a wetroom-style bathroom. Four of the twin rooms can be made into triple rooms if needed, by using a pull-out bed. Each bedroom has a lockable door. Towels, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in all en-suite rooms.

- Penhurst Wing: This en-suite accommodation comprises 5 family rooms and 3 twin rooms and is located on the first floor of the main building. The family rooms have two single beds and a bunk bed and can sleep up to 4 guests. Each room has a private shower room and each bedroom has a lockable door. Towels, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in all en-suite rooms.
It is our expectation that there will be a minimum of two guests per family room and you will not be charged for underfilling the room. However, if a guest chooses to have single occupancy of any room at the weekend, then a single supplement will be charged.
In addition:
- Patmos Lodge: This en-suite accommodation is usually reserved for individual guests who come on a personal retreat and is not usually given out to groups. However, if a group wishes to book the whole of Patmos Lodge and the adjoining meeting room this may be considered, subject to availability. Patmos Lodge is located a short walk away from the main Conference Centre and comprises 18 rooms in total (6 double-bedded rooms and 12 twin rooms) of which 15 rooms are on the ground floor. Each room has a private shower room. Each bedroom has a lockable door and towels, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities are provided.
